La Jolla Groves is a great place for date night or just to enjoy a more upscale dining experience in general. Although the food isn’t blow your mind amazing, there are some pretty good options. Plus, the desserts and bakery options are pretty darn good, so that might be reason enough to try it out, yes?

Marley’s in Riverwoods is a nice change of pace for breakfast from the typical breakfast joints people eat at in Provo/Utah County. The slider’s are cheap and filling, and you can still get your all you can eat pancakes or French Toast.

Don’t let Ginger’s scare you. Yes, it feels healthy, but it also tastes good. Prices are slightly higher than your average deli/sandwich joint, but it’s worth the cost to know you are eating food that’s good for you.

Tucanos isn’t cheap, but you can definitely get your money’s worth if you come hungry and leave stuffed. Between the meats and the “salad” offerings, you don’t really even need the Brazilian lemonade or desserts—you’ll be so full up, chances are good you won’t even notice you skipped them!

I wish the Grill at Jake’s Brookside was better. The sandwiches took a long time and were pretty average, but the fries were good. If it really always takes as long as we had to wait for two sandwiches, I would advise skipping the Grill.
